Graphic design and labels
Our in-house designers create the label and carton for your cosmetic, with your brand and all the information required by law in the countries where you sell. They then follow the job through to print, so what you approve on screen is what reaches the shelf.

A cosmetic label has two jobs. It has to sell: make your brand recognisable and explain the product at a glance. And it has to comply: ingredients, warnings, batch number, period after opening, the Responsible Person’s address.
A designer who doesn’t know cosmetics often gets the second part wrong. A regulatory specialist doesn’t handle the first. Our designers work alongside the laboratory and the team that prepares product documentation, so they keep both in view from the first draft.

On tubes, artwork is printed directly onto the material. We help you make the most of a small, curved surface.
Paper and packaging processing is one of our strengths: cartons, boxes and gift sets for kits and seasonal packs.
Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 lists the information that must appear on the packaging of a cosmetic sold in the EU. The UK Cosmetics Regulation, which kept the same framework after Brexit, has equivalent requirements. The main items are:
Some information must appear in the language of each country where you sell, and every EU member state decides which languages are mandatory. If you sell in several countries, we can lay out a multi-language label or carton that keeps the design readable. All the details are in our guide to EU cosmetic labelling.
Claims, such as “moisturising” or “dermatologically tested”, must also be substantiated. We only put them on the label when there is a test to support them, carried out by external laboratories chosen according to the claim.
Approved artwork is one of the steps before order confirmation, together with samples and packaging. Delivery follows in 4–6 weeks from order confirmation.
If you are creating several products, the artwork has to work as a family: the same colours and structure, with one element that sets each SKU apart. We design the line with its shelf in mind: a pharmacy chain, a spa treatment room, or a thumbnail on Amazon. See what changes for online sellers on our page for ecommerce and Amazon brands, or start from a private label skincare range.
We show it in your quote, together with production and packaging costs. It depends on the number of SKUs and the work required.
Yes. We check it against the packaging dimensions and verify that all mandatory information is there. If anything is missing, we tell you.
We verify the mandatory information with the people who prepare the product documentation, combining in-house expertise and external regulatory experts.
Yes, a multi-language label or carton is a common choice. We plan the layout around the languages required in the countries where you intend to sell.
For products sold in Great Britain, the label must show a UK Responsible Person with a UK address. We arrange this through our partners and include it in the artwork.
You approve the artwork before order confirmation. Whether a physical print proof is available depends on the packaging and the supplier: we tell you when we choose materials together.
Tell us where you are. Our designers work on packaging and can help you shape the look of your line.
