What is the minimum order for private label cosmetics for Amazon?
500 units per SKU, that is, per product in one format. You can start with a single product to test the market.
E-commerce and Amazon
A brand of your own, a product that does not appear identical in other listings, and stock that leaves our warehouse for Amazon fulfilment centres. We make private label cosmetics for online sellers in Europe and the UK, from 500 units per SKU, with delivery in 4–6 weeks.

Many people start selling cosmetics online by reselling other brands. It works until other sellers turn up with the same product. From then on the only way to sell is to cut the price, and the margin disappears.
With your own brand, things change:
Selling online means being visible to everyone, competitors included. So we protect your project from the very first contact.
A ready formula is the fastest way to start: you receive samples straight away. A custom formula takes about two weeks for samples and gives you a product that is genuinely different from those already on sale. Read more on our custom formulation page.
Selling online means managing stock: where to keep it, how to ship it, what each step costs. We can take care of it.
You do not need a storage facility of your own, and the goods make one journey fewer. Terms are agreed case by case, based on volumes and shipping frequency. Shipments within the EU travel without customs formalities; shipments to the UK require customs documents, with costs assessed case by case. Details are on our logistics and storage page.
To sell a cosmetic in Europe, some documents are required by law, before any marketplace rules apply. We take care of them:
For Amazon UK, the product also needs an SCPN notification and a UK Responsible Person with a UK address on the label: both are available through our partners. If your company is based outside the EU, an EU Responsible Person is also available through our partners.
Marketplaces, Amazon included, may ask for extra documents or checks in the beauty category, and their rules change over time. When you prepare your listing, we tell you which documents we can provide. For the full regulatory picture, see EU and UK compliance.
Online you see at once what sells: reviews, conversion rates, repeat purchases. So it makes sense to start with one or two SKUs of 500 units, see how the market responds and then expand the line. Ready formulas let you add products quickly, with the same artwork and the same brand. Our page on small batch cosmetic manufacturing explains how low minimums work, and our guide to the cost of a cosmetic line breaks down the main cost items.
Online, customers do not touch the product: they see it in a small photo on a screen. The packaging has to work there.
Our in-house designers prepare labels and cartons with your brand and follow them through to print. If you sell multipacks or bundles, we can make custom kits and boxes.

Yes. We can keep the goods in our warehouse and ship them to Amazon fulfilment centres when you need them, under an arrangement tailored to you.
Not if you choose an exclusive custom formula: we develop it for you and do not sell it to anyone else. On request we agree formula exclusivity, and we sign an NDA before receiving your information.
In the EU every cosmetic must be notified on the CPNP and have its Product Information File; we take care of both. For the UK, SCPN notification and a UK Responsible Person are available through our partners. Marketplaces may ask for more, and we help you work out what.
Samples arrive straight away for ready formulas and in about two weeks for a custom formula. Once samples, packaging and artwork are approved, delivery takes 4–6 weeks.
For the EU we handle the documentation ourselves. For the UK, Canada, the USA, Mexico and Australia we work with specialist partners.
