Custom cosmetic bottles: why cylindrical

The cylindrical bottle is the most versatile container for a cosmetic. It suits very different products, looks right on a pharmacy shelf and in a bathroom at home, and has a regular surface that is perfect for a wraparound, easy-to-read label. That matters when your label has to carry several languages for different European markets.

It’s also the format we know best: we run it on our lines every day, from batches of 500 units up to larger runs, with a total capacity of up to 40,000 units per day.

Custom skincare bottles: materials

We choose the material around your formula, the image you want and your target cost. Depending on the project, we can offer:

• PET: clear or coloured, rigid and glossy. Shows off the colour of the product; suited to washes, gels and toners.
• HDPE: opaque, soft to the touch and impact-resistant. Suited to body products and washes, including large sizes.
• PP: light and strong, compatible with many formulas and closures.

On request we also look at materials with recycled plastic content, if the supplier has them for the chosen format.

Closures: cap, pump, airless

The closure shapes the user experience as much as the formula does. Depending on the product, we propose:

Sizes: from travel to family size

We work with bottles in different capacities: from travel sizes and minis, also useful for samples and custom cosmetic kits, up to large sizes for body care and professional use in treatment rooms. Your project manager tells you which sizes are available for the material and closure you choose.

Custom printed cosmetic bottles

Your bottle can carry your brand in different ways. The most common options:

• Self-adhesive label: the most flexible option, including for small batches. You can change the artwork without changing the container, for example to produce a version for a new market.
• Screen printing: printed directly on the bottle, elegant and durable.
• Shrink sleeve: a printed film that wraps the whole bottle, useful for full-surface artwork.

Whatever you choose, our in-house designers prepare the artwork with all mandatory information (INCI ingredients, batch code, PAO, Responsible Person name and address) in the languages required where you sell, and follow it through to print. Products for Great Britain also need a UK Responsible Person address on the pack, arranged through partners. What we put in bottles

The cylindrical bottle suits most of the products we make:

• Gels: face and body gels, soothing and aloe gels. See our private label gels.
• Light creams and lotions: with a pump or airless. See our private label face and body creams.
• Washes: shower gels, face cleansers and intimate washes.
• Body products: oils, milks and fluids from our body care range.

Before confirming, we check that formula and container are compatible: texture, ingredients, closure seal.

The right bottle for your sales channel

The same gel may need a different bottle depending on where you sell it. On a pharmacy shelf, a readable label matters, often with a carton to complete it. Treatment rooms need large sizes with a pump, easy to use during a treatment. If you sell online and ship to customers across Europe or to Amazon fulfilment centres, the closure has to hold in transit and the parcel weight counts.

That’s why, before we propose a bottle, we ask where and how you will sell it. You avoid discovering a problem when the product is already in stock.

Certified suppliers and testing of every batch

We have worked with the same certified packaging suppliers for years. We produce according to GMP (ISO 22716), the good manufacturing practice for cosmetics, under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality system. Every filled batch is tested by our in-house lab and by external accredited labs, and is traceable by its batch code.
