Cosmetic gels

Private label gel: cosmetic gels for face, body and intimate care

We make private label gel products for the face, the body and intimate care, under your brand. Gels are what we do best: start from one of our ready formulas or a custom one, from 500 units per SKU (one product in one format).

Cosmetic gels, not nail gels

Search for “gel manufacturer” and you will mostly find nail gels and nail extension systems. We do something else: cosmetic gels applied to the skin, for the face, body and external intimate area. We don’t make nail polish, UV gels or nail products.

A cosmetic gel is a water-based formula thickened with a gelling agent, usually with little or no oil. It spreads easily, absorbs quickly and leaves skin fresh and non-greasy. That is why it appeals to people with combination or oily skin, to customers in warm climates and to anyone who wants a product they can use several times a day.

Private label gel range: what we make

Hydrating face gels

Light gels for the daily routine, which also work under make-up. A frequent choice for brands selling to a younger or male audience.

Private label skincare products

Eye contour gels

Fresh, smooth textures designed for a delicate area. They suit small tubes with a nozzle or applicator.

Body gels

Hydrating and toning gels for legs, arms and abdomen, also for professional treatments.

Private label body care

Soothing and aloe gels

The classic aloe gel and soothing gels for reddened skin or after hair removal. Simple, clear formulas, in strong demand in summer.

Cooling leg gels

Gels with a cooling effect for tired, heavy-feeling legs, often sold in pharmacies and beauty salons.

Gel cleansers

Face and body cleansing gels that foam on contact with water, combining cleansing with the practicality of a gel.

Intimate gels

Soothing and moisturising gels for the external intimate area, gentle and with a carefully chosen pH. They have their own page.

Textures: from fluid to firm gel

The same kind of product can have very different textures. In the lab we adjust thickness and clarity according to how you want the product to behave:

  • Fluid gel: flows well, suited to pump bottles and large areas of skin
  • Medium gel: stays on the fingertip without dripping, the most common for face and body
  • Firm gel: thick and full-bodied, for the eye contour and targeted treatments
  • Gel-cream: a gel with a small proportion of oils, more nourishing but still light

We can make clear or lightly tinted gels, with or without fragrance, depending on your audience. For sensitive skin we prepare fragrance-free versions.

Example formulations

Every formula is built on the result you want and the price you plan to sell at. Here are a few starting points, described in general terms:

  • Hydrating face gel: a water base with a humectant (an ingredient that holds water in the skin) and plant extracts
  • Soothing gel: aloe juice as the main ingredient with calming plant-derived substances
  • Leg gel: cooling ingredients and traditional plant extracts, with an immediate fresh feel
  • Face cleansing gel: mild surfactants (the substances that cleanse) in a thickened base that rinses off easily
  • Eye contour gel: a light, fragrance-free texture with hydrating actives

Exact ingredients and percentages are defined with our lab. If you want a new formula, exclusive to your brand if you wish, start with custom formulation.

Packaging that suits gels

Gels are among the easiest formulas to pack, but the right container changes how the product feels in use.

Tubes

The most common choice for face gels, eye contour gels and soothing gels. They protect the product from air and dispense the right amount.

Custom cosmetic tubes

Cylindrical bottles with pump

Ideal for body gels, aloe gels and gel cleansers, including larger professional formats.

Custom cosmetic bottles

Single-dose gel sachets and stick packs

Samples of your gel in sachets or stick packs printed with your brand, so people can try it before buying the full size.

Cartons

For pharmacy or perfumery shelves, our designers prepare a carton with your brand.

Claims and testing

On a gel you can make claims such as “hydrating”, “soothing” or “dermatologically tested”. Under EU and UK rules every claim must be backed by evidence: where needed, we entrust the tests to external labs chosen according to the claim, for a neutral assessment. We decide together which tests to run, based on what you want on the label. Our guide to cosmetic claims and testing explains more.

Every batch is tested by our in-house lab and by external accredited labs, including for heavy metals, and traced with a code. We produce according to GMP (ISO 22716), good manufacturing practice for cosmetics. Full details are on our quality and certifications page.

Who orders gels from us

Frequently asked questions

Do you make nail gels?

No. We only make cosmetic gels applied to the skin of the face, body and external intimate area. We don’t make nail polish, UV gels or nail extension products.

What is the minimum order for a private label gel?

The minimum order is 500 units per SKU, meaning one product in one format. It applies to both ready and custom formulas.

How long does it take to get the gels ready?

Delivery takes 4–6 weeks from order confirmation. The order is confirmed once you have approved samples, packaging and artwork.

Can I try the gel before ordering?

Yes. Samples of ready formulas are available straight away; a custom formula takes about 2 weeks.

Should I choose a gel or a cream?

A gel is fresher and lighter, suited to combination or oily skin and warmer months. A cream is more nourishing and suits dry skin. Many clients choose both, and we can make them in the same range.

Can a gel go in a pump bottle?

Yes, especially with a fluid or medium texture. For thicker gels we recommend a tube; our lab checks that formula and container work well together.

Can the gel formula be mine alone?

Yes. We can develop a formula exclusive to your brand, sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before receiving your information and agree exclusivity on the formula.
